This weekend there was a lot riding on the matchup between Adam’s 1-8 Detroit Lions and the 1-8 Cleveland Browns (a showdown jokingly referred to around the office as the “Toilet Bowl”).
The stakes: being forced to eat a Taco Bell Black Jack taco (there’s more to the bet, but I’ll leave that to your imagination).
Luckily, Adam narrowly avoided having to chow down (and by narrowly, I mean the Lions won by one point after scoring a touchdown on a free play that occurred after time had already run out).
But even more than that, the victory was a source of pride because the Lions are no longer among the teams tied for worst record in the NFL — a group the Browns still belong to.
And who in the Polyvinyl family is a big Browns fan? None other than of Montreal’s Kevin Barnes. Next time Kevin’s in town, it looks like he’s going to have to think outside the bun.
