Adam burnt his lunch and the office smells terrible now.
But, just as he learned to keep a closer eye on his Trader Joe’s Vegetable Masala Burger (featuring Authentic Indian Spices), I now know that the cover image of The Association of Utopian Hologram Swallowers 7” (featuring Joan of Arc, Owen, Make Believe, and Love of Everything) was made by putting a frozen pizza in the oven and letting it burn.
If you want a copy to see up close for yourself, you can get one for only $5 in our E-Store.
I literally spent an entire day putting together package deals, so you have the option to grab the record on CD, black vinyl, limited edition peach vinyl, t-shirt with download code, or mix and match in every combination imaginable.
And to top it all off — every pre-order comes with a FREE sticker, button, 11” x 17” poster and 3 song digital EP!
From my lack of posts lately, you might be thinking things are pretty dead around the PV office — but in fact, it’s busier than ever!
Besides the new Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin album (which I’ll be talking more about in just a little bit), we’ve got five records going into production right now: three 7”s (Japandroids, Owen, and xbxrx), a 12” (of Montreal) and a full-length (matt pond PA).
I’m still learning the ropes on the whole vinyl manufacturing process, but everything is rolling along on schedule so look for pre-orders to be going up very, very soon.
