It's Our Birthday!
I can’t say I really recall my 15th birthday. It was the one before I got to start driving on my own, but the day’s events are pretty much a blank for me.
Luckily, Polyvinyl’s 15th anniversary is sure to be much more memorable.

First Day Back
This past Saturday at the Metro in Chicago, Braid’s name appeared on a show list for the first time in seven years. (And for those keeping track, it was #598 for their career.)
The sold-out concert featured 22 songs from the band’s extensive catalog (check out the complete set list on Braid’s Twitter) — including three from their new EP, Closer to Closed.

Asobi Seksu Will Rock You
When Asobi Seksu played at Champaign-Urbana’s Pygmalion Music Festival in 2008, the show instantly rocketed into my top 5 list of the best concerts I’ve ever seen.
Knowing I’ll get to see the Brooklyn-based band again at our 15-Year Anniversary Show in September is just one of the reasons I’m so excited for this year’s Pygmalion Fest.
