Back in June, Adam and I made a $1 bet on our favorite baseball teams (me — St. Louis Cardinals; him — Atlanta Braves) making the playoffs.
At the time, it was possible that both clubs would be in the postseason and it’d end up being a draw.
But now, the two teams are battling it out for the NL Wild Card (the Braves are up by 2 games with only 6 to go) and only one is going to get to keep playing in October.
Adam suggested we make the bet more interesting.
I’m thinking maybe if I win he buys me this Cardinal…thing he found on a trip to Wisconsin earlier this month.
On second thought, I’ll just take the $1.
