Before I started interning at Polyvinyl, the only band on the label I had really listened to was matt pond PA. 

Sure, I knew about of Montreal, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Braid, and others, but I had already played “Kc” (the opening track on Emblems) countless times before I ever set foot in the office.

And then, I come to find out that Polyvinyl didn’t even release Emblems!

Luckily, I’ve since grown much more familiar with the PV catalog and in even more exciting news — it now includes matt pond PA’s fifth record.

Released in stores this Tuesday, the limited edition 180-gram 2xLP is also available in our E-Store and features three bonus tracks not found on the original album.
