This week, I found out that Parks and Recreation is not our only mutual love as Japandroids’ “The House That Heaven Built” occupied a spot on their spring playlist. And in two degrees of separation, Perfume Genius (aka Mike Hadreas) also pops up on the mix — as well as in the song “Beauty Towne” from Xiu Xiu’s latest, Always.
