Ever wonder what's it's like to work at a record label? My name's Chris and I work at Polyvinyl Records. I used to pack mailorder, but now I head up the production department.

Come on in, join my blog, and I'll show you my world...

Last night, Japandroids played a Chicago show to the entire Champaign-based PV crew and 500 of their biggest fans at Lincoln Hall.
Aside from getting to hear every song from the just released Celebration Rock live for the first time, we also were able to settle an inter-office argument about who sings “Continuous Thunder” — a debate spurred by a review I read awhile back that (mistakenly) claimed Dave was on vocals.
If you live near Chicago and missed this show, don’t worry — you’ll have two more chances next month: RSVP to this free event (Thursday, 7/12) or attend Pitchfork Music Fest (Friday, 7/13).
