This morning I walked in to find our office had been turned into a bike repair shop — as Patrick was using a Dremel rotary tool to cut a groove in a stripped bolt head on Tim’s Bottecchia.
Although the amount of sparks flying made it seem like the 4th of July had come a week early, Patrick completed the task without cutting off his finger (always a plus).
As an added bonus, when I was looking up how to spell Bottecchia, one of the top results took me to the Wikipedia page of the company’s namesake, wherein I discovered the strange and mysterious story of the Italian cyclist’s death. Definitely worth reading if you have a minute.
