Today is Cole’s last day at Polyvinyl. After heading up our mailorder department for a year-and-a-half he’s moving to Michigan later this month.
Because he’ll be leaving soon, we decided to take an hour off work Wednesday afternoon to finally take to the court for the much talked about inaugural Polyvinyl vs. Undertow basketball game.
Cole — who also works at Undertow — played on their side along with Adam K. (another former Polyvinyl employee), while me and Michael represented the Polyvinyl team.
Even though we held a one-point halftime lead, Cole took over in the second half and led Undertow to a 22-20 victory.
But in the end, everyone was a winner as we headed over to Michael’s parents’ house (conveniently located across the street) for post-game popsicles.
