This past Saturday at the Metro in Chicago, Braid’s name appeared on a show list for the first time in seven years. (And for those keeping track, it was #598 for their career.)
The sold-out concert featured 22 songs from the band’s extensive catalog (check out the complete set list on Braid’s Twitter) — including three from their new EP, Closer to Closed.
Show #599 will be at the Polyvinyl 15-Year Anniversary Show during this year’s Pygmalion Festival — located in our current (and the band’s original) hometown of Champaign-Urbana.
